HOW IT WORKS

Common Questions

Know your rights and see how Fly Claim helps you claim compensation for delayed, cancelled, or overbooked flights.

How Much Can You Claim ?
Compensation depends on your flight distance and arrival delay, ranging from €250 to €600 per passenger, even for low-cost tickets.
Who is eligible for compensation for delayed or cancelled flights ?
Anyone who has taken a flight departing from or arriving in the European Union, or operated by a European airline, may be eligible for compensation in case of a delay of more than 3 hours, cancellation, or denied boarding, according to EU Regulation EC 261/2004.
Which documents are required ?
Usually, all you need is a booking confirmation or boarding pass. An e-ticket or confirmation email works perfectly. If you don’t have these documents, our team can help.
When will you get your compensation ?
Most claims are usually settled within a few weeks, though exceptional cases may take longer if the airline disputes or legal action is needed. The good news: with our expertise and automated tools, Fly-Claim handles claims faster than most traditional services.
Do you have to pay anything upfront ?
No fees if your claim is unsuccessful. If you get compensated, we only take a 30% commission (including VAT) upon success.
Can you claim compensation for multiple passengers ?
Absolutely — add anyone who traveled with you. Every passenger is eligible for individual compensation.
In which cases can compensation be denied ?
Certain situations, known as ‘extraordinary circumstances,’ allow airlines to avoid paying compensation. These include:
Severe weather or natural disasters
Airport staff or air traffic controller strikes (not the airline’s own staff)
Terror alerts or political instability
However, technical problems or staff shortages within the airline are not considered extraordinary circumstances. In these cases, you are entitled to compensation.
