Which airline should handle your claim?
A claim is generally submitted to the airline that actually operated the disrupted flight. This airline may be different from the airline that sold you the ticket.
In the event of a codeshare flight, a journey involving several airlines or a connecting itinerary, the complete journey must be checked to identify the responsible operating carrier.
